ROERO ARNEIS DOCG RORETTO
Arneis in the Piedmontese dialect means original, rebellious and grumpy and this is the nature of the famous white grape variety typical of Roero. A dry, fresh and balanced wine that expresses itself with intense notes of broom and chamomile. Thanks to its acidulous and velvety scent, its elegance and great nobility, this wine is excellent for stylish moments.

Tasting notes
Harvest: first half September. Soft pressing, without picking the wood from bunches, by using pneumatic presses to avoid damages to the wooden part of the grapes, which could give some unwanted flavours to the wine. Refrigeration of the must at 6 to 8°C to stop any kind of fermentation and to favour the natural decantation of the skins. Then, selected yeasts are put into the must, already cleaned, for a correct fermentation at a controlled temperature. With this procedure, its fruity characteristics are preserved. After fermentation, filtration and storage of white wine Roero Arneis in tanks. Bottling after filtration. Recommended consumption within 2 years; however, some good vintages allow later consumption.
